We landed on Sunday the 9th at Incheon airport.
Korea’s weather was similar to Hawaii’s, but a little less humid with no trade winds. We got through customs and soon came out to a lobby where many people were waiting for a diplomat or celebrity to arrive sometime later. This is where the group met with its other half. We were introduced to Ms. Kwon, Ms. Hannah, Ms. Clancy, her two kids, and the Suhs. For dinner, we had some Jr. Whoppers from Burger King(Yay, first meal) and some Coca-Cola from cans much skinnier than their American counterparts. Overall, it was much better than America’s Whoppers because of some sort of teriyaki sauce added to the burgers.
After the quick meal, we caught a rental bus to the giant entertainment resorts called INSPIRE.
When first entering the lobby we were greeted by a huge digital display of a waterfall and various changing environments on the walls. We then entered the mall and were lucky enough to see the 7:30 special show on the huge digital screens on the ceiling and walls. After the 2-3 minute show, everyone was given some free time to shop and look around. There were an assortment of shops and things to do at INSPIRE. There was even a hotel e mall.
After about an hour, we met back up as a group and went to our hotel via rental bus to settle down for the night.
