Sunday was our last day in Korea,
but that didn’t mean we would waste any time. Up first, HIKR ground, a tourism center. At the time we went, the exhibit was based on Faker, a League of Legends prodigy, known as the best in the world. This was to celebrate his fourth world championship win. After exploring the exhibit, we didn’t have enough time to go to the church, so a representative of the Korean Christian Church came to explain what it was and what she was trying to do. The church was going to get demolished and she was trying to prevent it to protect President Rhee’s legacy. We took a picture to show our support.
We then headed to lunch at a very busy famous mandu/noodle restaurant. After lunch, we went to Jubilee Church to take part in a service. It was very active and almost seemed like a concert for God with the singing. It was a nice way to end the trip.
After the service concluded, we went to the airport, boarded our plane, and returned back home to Hawaii. We returned home overwhelmed after seven nights nine days of hospitality and learning about the connections between Korea, the United States, and Hawaii.
