Details for our next meeting! (mandatory)
We will be meeting March 2nd, Saturday, from 1:30 PM at Starbucks in Kahala Mall. Then, at 3-5 PM we will be watching the movie “The Birth of Kahala” at the Kahala movie theater. here was a typo in the movie title, the exact title is "The Birth of Korea." All tickets will be provided by the club 🙂
We have some exciting news to share with you. The movie 'The Birth of Korea,' which premiered in Korea on February 1st and is currently showing, is a documentary film depicting the founding process of South Korea and the importance of the ROK-US Mutual Defense Treaty. This non-commercial documentary has unexpectedly gained tremendous attention, receiving continuous coverage from various media outlets. Among the individuals featured in the film are Mr. Hwang and Mr. Heo from KHHC, with Mr. Heo notably assisting in research and filming in Hawaii for the movie. The reason we want to watch this movie with you is because KHHC is also a club that deals with Korean history, just like this movie, and we hope that watching it will be helpful for you when you run the club later on.
